The Tarragon Theatre has become one of the places to go for theatre in Toronto, and this continues with their production of Forests. The play follows the character Loup, who is on a quest to discover the source of the mysterious illness that killed her mother. Spanning six generations and two continents, the play emphasises the intrinsic values of ‘family.’

Melissa Fung
CBC journalist Melissa Fung will be participating in a discussion about “Under an Afghan Sky,” the memoir which details her 2008 kidnapping in Afghanastan. Fung will follow-up the discussion with an audience Q&A, book sale and signing.

Hometown Glory
Four female poets from different walks of life will be on hand at The Central tonight. Amanda Hiebert, a founder of the Toronto Poetry Project, Montreal-renowned Alessandra Nacarato, Individual World Poetry Slam competitor Lara Bozabalian, and Chocolate Fountain member Jillian Christmas will keep you entertained on a gloomy Monday night.
